Terms and Conditions

Introduction

By participating in this competition, entrants agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. Entry is open only to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria specified below.

Eligibility

Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.

How to Enter

Beginning Monday, 21st July 2025, SWR 99.9 FM will release one (1) Secret Sound each week for three (3) consecutive weeks via our official Facebook and Instagram pages.
To enter, participants must comment on the post with their guess. The first correct and accurate comment will be deemed the winner for that week.

Competition Period

The competition will run from Monday, 21st July 2025 to Friday, 8th August 2025, unless all prizes are claimed prior to this date.

Prizes

  • One (1) x $100 Hay Street Market voucher will be awarded each week, for a total of three (3) prizes.
  • Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable for cash, or redeemable for any alternative product or service.

Winner Selection and Notification

  • Each weekly winner will be the first eligible entrant to correctly and accurately identify the Secret Sound.
  • Winners will be notified via the social media platform on which they entered and will be required to provide a valid email address to arrange prize delivery.
  • If a winner does not respond within 7 days of contact, SWR 99.9 FM reserves the right to award the prize to the next eligible entry.

Privacy

All personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the SWR 99.9 FM Privacy Policy and used solely for the administration of this competition. Information will not be shared with third parties unless required for prize fulfilment.

Disqualification

SWR 99.9 FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Any fraudulent or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate disqualification.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, SWR 99.9 FM accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury incurred as a result of participation in the competition or in connection with any prize awarded.
