Three local organisations are up to win a $1000 Community Grant from the Telstra Store Seven Hills and we need you to help choose the most worthy cause!
The three organisations up for voting are:
Blacktown Women and Girls Health Centre – for help with women and children who are victims of domestic violence
Afford disability – to provide a modified sporting event for clients with high-support needs and life-long disabilities.
Africa United – to help with the cost of uniforms and training equipment for newly established club.
The organisation which receives the most votes wins $1000. The others don’t go away empty-handed though with the second highest number of votes winning $300 and the lowest number of votes receiving $200.
Jim Gordon, the store licensee, is wanting to give something back to the community hence the reason for this program. To vote, people come into the store and vote on the ipad set up specifically for this program. There is no need to be a Telstra customer or even to talk to a salesperson.
