On January 26th, 2025, the Blacktown community came together for an unforgettable Australia Day celebration, filled with fantastic performances, exciting activities, and an incredible fireworks display. The event was a resounding success, and we’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Blacktown City Council for their incredible support in making the day possible.
The highlight of the day was the sensational performance by none other than Shannon Noll, who took the stage as the event’s headliner. His powerful vocals and engaging stage presence had the crowd buzzing, leaving everyone wanting more!
But the entertainment didn’t stop there. The energetic HYPE Boys, the smooth sounds of Simply West, and the rocking INXS Kick Show all took their turns entertaining the crowd. Each performance brought something unique, ensuring there was never a dull moment throughout the day.
For the kids, the event featured a range of fun Aussie games, as well as free rides and activities to keep them entertained and active. It was a day of pure joy for families, creating memories to cherish for years to come.
The grand finale was a spectacular fireworks display, lighting up the night sky in a burst of colour, offering the perfect end to a fantastic day of celebration.
We would also like to express our thanks to all the listeners who joined us at the event, especially those who entered the lolly guessing comp. Your enthusiasm and support made the day even more successful.
A massive shout-out to our talented MCs, Linden and Fyfie, whose excellent hosting skills kept the energy high and the crowd engaged from start to finish.
