Fabulous Fairfield is a program that recognises the hard work of our Fairfield’s keen gardeners. Fairfield residents maintain the landscaping of their homes and grow beautiful gardens with flowers, vegetables and native plants for their own enjoyment, as well as improving the overall look and environmental quality of our City.
Each month at Council meetings, numerous residents are presented the Fabulous Fairfield award, which consists of a gift card of their choosing, to the amount of $100, plants from the Fairfield Community Nursery and a framed Certificate of Achievement.
At the end of the year, Council acknowledges the pride and dedication that so many residents display in their gardens by presenting the Garden of the Year Award. All of the monthly Fabulous Fairfield winners are eligible for the annual award.
