SWR 99.9 FM, is a community radio station based in Blacktown that serves the Blacktown, Fairfield, and Cumberland LGAs. Our mission is to provide a platform for the community,
ensuring that individuals—regardless of age, gender, nationality, or experience—have access to the airwaves.
Our broadcast reaches a significant portion of the Sydney metropolitan area, with our official license covering 16% of the region. However, due to the strength of our signal, we are proud to be heard across 90% of Sydney. On average, 214,000 listeners tune in to SWR 99.9 FM each week, engaging with our diverse programming and live outside broadcasts that reflect the vibrant communities of Western Sydney.
To continue delivering high-quality programming and maintaining our commitment to the community, we will be running a Major Raffle throughout May, which will help raise essential funds to help keep our station on air, providing music, news, and current affairs content to our audience.
